The Calgary Mustangs play their home games at the Father David Bauer Olympic Arena.
The arena also hosts many tournaments where hundreds of players, families, coaches and staff can be found virtually year round.
The arena is located in the same area as the McMahon Stadium and Foothills stadium, close to the University of Calgary.
The Father David Bauer Olympic Arena is named after Father David William Bauer, one of the forefathers of Canada's national teams and a historical hockey pioneer and Hockey Hall of Famer. Father David Bauer was most well-known for his efforts in creating and helming the first Canadian Men's National hockey team for the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, as well as his efforts in championing the creation of a Men's national junior team to compete at the World Junior Championships. Partially used in the 1988 Winter Olympics, the arena is home to the Calgary Mustangs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League as well as the Calgary Dinos University Hockey Teams. Boasting an Olympic sized ice surface and with seating for more than 2000 people, this arena is used for an array of tryouts and games for numerous local and national teams across Canada.
